This GDPR Data Privacy Policy sets out how Tabs FM uses and protects any information that you give Tabs FM. Under the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) personal data is defined as:

Tabs FM is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this WEBsite, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

What we collect

Why does Tabs FM Limited need to collect and store personal data?

In order for us to explore your interest and support the products and services provided by Tabs FM Limited, we need to collect personal data for correspondence purposes and/or detailed service provision. In any event, we are committed to ensuring that the information we collect and use is appropriate for this purpose, and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy.

In terms of being contacted for marketing purposes (new products, services, events etc), Tabs FM Limited would contact you for additional consent. An option to ‘Opt In’ to marketing services is provided on our WEBsite. You will not be contacted to Opt In by Tabs FM Limited, but you can Opt In at any time by contacting the Data Protection Officer (see below contact details).

General marketing activities usually take place via our social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Google). Links to which can be found on our WEBsite should you wish to follow updates from Tabs FM Limited. Tabs FM Limited are not responsible for the data captured by the social media providers.

How will Tabs FM Limited use the personal data it collects about me?

Tabs FM Limited will process (collect, store and use) the information you provide in a manner compatible with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We will endeavour to keep your information accurate and up to date, and not keep it for longer than is necessary. Tabs FM Limited is required to retain information in accordance with the law, such as information needed for income tax and audit purposes. How long certain kinds of personal data should be kept may also be governed by specific business-sector requirements and agreed practices. Personal data may be held in addition to these periods depending on individual business needs.

Will Tabs FM Limited share my personal data with anyone else?

We may pass your personal data on to third-party service providers contracted to Tabs FM Limited in the course of dealing with you. Any third parties that we may share your data with are obliged to keep your details securely, and to use them only to support you and your interest in Tabs FM products and services. When they no longer need your data to fulfil this service, they will dispose of the details in line with Tabs FM Limited’s procedures.
