Since foundation in 1992, the Tabs Reactive Maintenance (FM Helpdesk) module received constant considered development, making it an extremely powerful and flexible system, yet retaining its inherent ease of use.
We have 3 core components to our Reactive Maintenance software that all communicate together to support momentum in moving forward as a streamlined maintenance unit. Available extensions include:
- (Compulsory) Management Information System (CAFM) - for use by an administration teams and is the control hub of Tabs Systems
- (Optional) Web Based Intranet/Internet Systems - for use by the clients or colleagues
- (Optional) Tabs Mobile System - extends the Tabs reach to Field Engineers, Contractors and Supervisors/Senior Management
Reactive calls can be placed quick easily via a simple webbased form, 24/7. Upon acceptance of a call reported via this method, the requestor will receive email confirmation with a unique work order reference number. The web port also enables clients to review progression of the task at any time, ensuring that they have constant but limited access to the system as a self-service tool.
Both Reactive and Planned Maintenance tasks can appear on the web portal, which then lends itself to workers (engineers, cleaners, handymen or contractors) as a tool to review tasks allocated to them and provide updates. Multiple responses can be applied to a single reactive or planned task, along with various status level changes. Automatic emails can be dispatched each time the status is changed, or when the job is complete. Thus providing an efficient customer service process.
SLA/KPI priorities can be assigned to each task to enable efficient task management to ensure that all tasks are completed within their allotted time frame. Reports can be produced on performance to identify areas of weakness.
Reactive tasks, planned tasks and asset information can all be transferred to the mobile devices to improve response times and provide an efficient end-to-end solution for maintenance management.
As you would expect, this module integrates seamlessly with other Tabs modules. From the outset, we set out to design a one-stop shop for all your maintenance software requirements, the Tabs Reactive Maintenance system is just one component part of a much greater, integrated system.
