Catering may be booked over the phone or Intranet using the Tabs system. Intranet bookings can be processed by the main facilities team by clicking on one of two buttons; Accept request or decline request. Either way an email is sent to the requestor confirming or denying their booking.
Catering requirements can be emailed to the Catering department or if there are multiple catering departments perhaps based on different sites, multiple emails sent out. Alternatively Catering can have access to Tabs so that they have real time access to the daily, weekly or monthly requirements. Reports can be printed, emailed or faxed with consummate ease.
Daily Requirements can even be downloaded to Tabs for Pocket PC, and each requirement marked as delivered when appropriate. Even satisfaction signatures can be recorded for each delivery.
