Workstation Assessment
As part of our ongoing drive the deliver an intelligent and efficient managed solution, our development team have re-engineered our existing workstation assessments module, integrating it firmly within our existing suite of Health and Safety modules. 
The latest incarnation is driven and configured solely via our powerful Intranet/Internet system. Through a collection of user-friendly pages, the new completely web-based system provides an excellent and professional service to your client or colleagues. A flexible array of features includes:
- Create your own Workstation Assessment categories, adhering to statutory or local polices
- Custom build your own questions
- Define individual drop-down answers for question
- Upload supporting documentation and images to clarify category subjects
- Prioritise questions and answers
- Review results
We realise that the new ‘off the shelf’ Workstation Assessment module offers great potential for further enhancements.  Tabs 2 Accounts – SAGE integration
You may recall in our last newsletter we featured a forum event focusing on SAGE Integration. Kindly hosted by Phosters on the 24th of February, we are pleased to announce that we received a positive response on the development achieved to date. Two briefly summarise, there were two primary objectives to meet within the ‘Tabs 2 Accounts’ integration project. These were identified as exporting Sales and exporting Purchase invoices from Tabs Systems into SAGE accounts. To achieve this we are in the throes of developing the following three new bolt-on products.
- Tabs Sync-IT – Directly sync invoices raised by Tabs, straight into SAGE
- Tabs Workflow – Monitor, amend and manage each invoice before importing to SAGE
- Tabs Search-IT – Search and review invoices already posted to SAGE
The flexibility of the new development stimulated interesting debates amongst existing Tabs users. As a result, we have already road-mapped the future development of this facility and will keep you posted in due course. Other Developments
Our development teams have been busy over the past month adding new functionality to our existing systems. A brief summary of these include:
- Reactive and Planned Maintenance – A new report has been added to our maintenance systems called ‘List of incomplete Job in and out of Priority’
- Planned Maintenance – There has been a new field added to the PPM Simple mode to select ‘Location Area’ when creating maintenance schedules
- Permit to Work – New reports available on the Tabs Web Based Permit to work system
- Cost Code and Budgeting – Two new reports added to the cost code and budgeting system
- Data Import Utility – Day specific schedule creation
- Room Booking Event setup – Additional fields added to support Domain, Level, Cost Code and Bi-Lingual event names via the web based system
- Room Booking – New field against room bookings to store number of car park spaces required
