Welcome to the May edition of the Tabs FM Newsletter.
Celtic Manor
In April, Tabs attended the FM and Property Event at The Celtic Manor Resort. Our Sales and Projects Manager, Allan Parker hit target for the first time this year, coming third in the clay pigeon shooting!
This excellent event was the perfect vehicle to introduce Tabs Systems to many leading national Facilities professionals who were very receptive to the scope and depth of our modular solution.
Two areas of particular interest were the linking of Tabs Systems with active Building Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management software. While the former is a question of collaboration with BMS software suppliers and within our control, we will certainly be investing time to research Energy Management in more detail. We already have two clients working with us to this end.
NEC Facilities Show
Our next event is at The NEC, Birmingham. You will be able to find the Tabs Team in Hall 1, Stand C30, from 11th-13th May inclusive. The usual hospitality and a warm reception, Tabs Style, is guaranteed.

Client Health Checks
We are constantly exploring ways to make our service more efficient for our client base.
When looking at most time management models, we realise that "putting out fires" is a time consuming and often stressful activity.
Tabs Systems are consistently under development as we endeavour to offer new technology and fresh ideas for the benefit of all users.
We would like to suggest a 6 monthly Health Check for all clients. This would involve a pre- arranged site visit to carry out a review of your employment of Tabs Systems. We can bring you up to speed with new development and also address any other areas of need e.g. training, re-training, wish lists and any gripes/issues you may have with your system. It is a great opportunity to look at internal processes with a view to generating more efficient options.
Of course, the Tabs Help Desk will continue with day to day calls as usual. It is our belief that a regular review will pre-empt any major operational problems and add to the value offered by our products.
If you would like to subscribe to our pro-active health service, please register your interest as soon as possible. We can then arrange dates for 2010 in advance.
