We certainly feel that face to face contact with clients, whatever the occasion, has a positive effect on successful business relationships. The supply and support of a software package is dependent on a collaborative approach rather than a "them and us".
The personal contact, listening and discussion promoted by our recent events has acted as a conduit to enhanced relations and possibly highlights the value of past practices in an era of sanitised, politically correct values.
So, if these brief words suggested a moral, that moral may be:
"It's good to talk, and listening isn't a bad skill to have either."
.Net Launch Event
We extend our thanks to those clients who joined us in June for the unveiling of the new Microsoft WPF .NET Management Console and Mobile solutions.
The theme for the day was based on four key areas:
- New .Net Management Console, replacing the access user interface
- Operating Systems for Mobile/Tablet users, introducing iOS and Android development
- New module functionality including Event Management, Customer Relationship Management, Enquiry Manage and Task Manager
- Tabs Digital Dashboard technology
A positive and valuable day was enjoyed by all parties. Many clients have initiated implementation steps to our latest product. We feel also that a fuller understanding of the challenges in designing and delivering an evolving software solution was gained; one which embraces both new technology and the demands of the market place.

VW Racing Cup Championship
In May, we invited clients to join us at Brands Hatch for the VW Racing Cup Championship. We were overwhelmed by the number of responses and registrations. Due to popular demand, we put on a second day. The event was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Track Day
Fancy driving the Tabs sponsored car around Brands Hatch?
In October we will be offering our clients the chance to join us at Brands Hatch for a track day. This will give the opportunity to race around the Brands hatch circuit in the Tabs FM sponsored car. The date will be confirmed in due course and winners will be selected at random.

New ColleaguesWe welcome three new colleagues to the Tabs family: Adam Reardon - Adam joins our implementation and technical teams providing onsite support and system installations. Adam has already proven himself to be a valued member of the team, picking up the implementation process and training elements with impressive ease. Adam Petrou - Adam strengthens our business support team, providing support for technical and operational issues. Following feedback from the forum event, proof we listened, we responded. Joanne Hinds - Joanne offers a wealth of knowledge and experience in the CAFM arena. Joining us as Training Consultant, we're confident she'll be a valuable asset to the implementation team. |
Facilities Show ReviewTabs FM Ltd returned the NEC again this year for the annual Facilities Show. The Facilities Show continues to go from strength-to-strength, as borne out by statistics illustrating attendance up by 20% in 2012. This year's event was a great success for Tabs FM Ltd. Resplendent on our new exhibition stand and supported by an extensive new product range, excited queues soon began to form to engage the team. Apart from meeting existing clients looking for an initial viewing of the .NET System, many new business opportunities arose which will keep our sales and presentation team busy over the coming months. Thanks to all for your time and interest. |
Access System SupportFollowing the successful launch of the .Net system, we anticipate a great migration process over the coming months as client begin to explore the new solutions provided by Tabs FM. For those who not quite ready to migrate to the new advanced solution, the Access system will continue to be supported for the foreseeable future. |
Tip of the MonthDid you know...in the new .Net system you can easily search for a report by simply entering keywords? For modules with lots of standard reports, we've introduced a new quick search function that will filter reports by keywords entered for simple, effective and quicker report finding. |
